DAY 2

London Trip - Day 2: Morning
Our students enjoyed a lovely breakfast after a long journey and good night's rest.
Today we explored the city and went to the Royal Albert Hall, Kensington Gardens, Trafalgar Square, Buckingham Palace, by St Paul's Cathedral. London Bridge, and had a good lunch at Paul's by the Tower of London.

Buckingham Palace.

Trafalgar Square.

In the afternoon we took a bus ride to the outskirts of London to see the famous castle of Hampton Court. This fortress was build by Cardinal Woolsey in the 1500 and occupied by King Henry the VIII. Other Kings lived there after him too. It was considered a country residence for Royalty. The gardens were beautiful.

DAY 3

We have another beautiful day in London. It is very cold but the sun is shining. We are traveling to the second oldest University in the English speaking world. Cambridge was established in 1209.
It is a research University.
Famous graduates of Cambridge were Isaac Newton, Charles Darwin, Christopher Marlow, and Steven Hawkins.

DAY 4

Our students had the opportunity to got to Piccadilly Circus, West End, The National Art Gallery, and more. The students were in awe of the beautiful paintings by Claude Monet and Van Gogh.
We walked to Downing Street where the Prime Minister of England lives and over to see the Parliament, Big Ben, and the Eye of London. Later everyone enjoyed a nice high tea and to top it all off we enjoyed the Tony Award winning show of The Lion King.

DAY 5

Our day began with a drive to visit the world famous Oxford University. We went on a private tour and then continued on Stratford-Upon Avon.  There we saw the birth house of William Shakespeare. We are now in Chester preparing for our school exchange the next day.

DAY 6

The students spent a day at an International Private School near Chester, Wales called Ruthin. The school was established in 1284. Our students spent the day going to classes with Ruthin students and giving presentations about Kyrgyzstan and our Oxford school. They each had a student buddy during the day. They were invited for lunch, received a tour, exchanged gifts, and made new friends.

DAY 7

The Vice Principal and students from Ruthin gave us a guided tour in Chester. Chester is a beatiful town and dates back to the time of the Romans. The remains of the Roman Bath, Mosaic's, columns and more can be seen. There is also a city wall that goes around Chester. The town is charming and dull of history. At noon we said Goodbye and traveled back to London.

DAY 8

We are traveling back to Bishkek. Students are looking forward to returning home after a very successful trip.
