Parent Participation/Open House KS2

KS2 held their first Open House yesterday. Children invited their parents to come and visit their classroom and their Key stage. The children themselves played 'host' or 'hostess', proudly showing parents and grandparents their own work, their art and other displays. Meanwhile some of the eldest members of KS2, our lovely Year 6's, prepared tea and sweet treats for visiting parents.

This was a new experience for parents, but also for the children who were showcasing themselves, their work and their own talents and learning to be a good host/hostess, for the very first time.
