Basketball Tournament

Our KS3/4 Boys Basketball team competed in the Tien Shan Mountain basketball tournament at Quality Schools International. International Schools from Central Asia competed in the four day Basketball Tournament, which saw our boys finish 5th overall. Jantai Zhumaliev (Year 10) was awarded tournament All Star status, by making the top 5 players of the tournament. We are very proud of all the boys, who showed great sportsmanship, determination and commitment throughout both the tournament and winter basketball season. Congratulations to Aslan Mahmudov, for winning OIS Best Team Player award, Dastan Ibragimov for OIS Most Improved Player award, and Jantai Zhumaliev, for winning the OIS Most Valuable Player award.
