On 19 April, Y7 went to South Gates Park in Bishkek.
It was a perfect day weather-wise, not too hot and not too cold, with blue skies, a light breeze and a bright sun. Year 7s spent the first part of the day renting bicycles and enjoying races around the park. Later on, the jump ropes and hula hoops came out with students working to out-jump and out-spin one another. Lunch was eaten and then the multiple-rider bikes were rented and several more races were held with both students and teachers involved. Unfortunately, Y7S lost to Y7D due to a chain malfunction, but all the students pulled together to fix the broken bike. Before the tug-of-war games, students enjoyed eating ice cream and chatting with one another. A good day was had by all and the two groups formed memories to last a lifetime.
