International Week

Last week was International Week at @Oxford International School Bishkek. The final event was a “tour around the world”. During this event our students represented many different nations and showcased the food, art, and exhibitions that celebrated the beautiful diversity which exists within our wonderful capital of Bishkek.We hosted three special guests from the Swiss, British, and American Embassies. Mr Richard Dewell, Deputy Head of Mission of the British Embassy and Mr Enrico Pianta, Swiss Consul both held Q & A sessions with the students and provided them nice gifts from their respective embassies. They then took the “tour around the world”. Mr Trevor Olson, the Public Affairs Officer from the US Embassy, also visited our school for a "world tour". He provided a nice gift to our library from his embassy. Overall, it was a wonderful cultural event and our students enjoyed meetings the diplomats and learning more about their world.
